Po dobytí Egypta sa mu podarí rozprášiť i dovtedy za neporaziteľné považované perzské vojsko - a tiež dobyť legendárny Babylon. Krátko nato sa prebojuje cez nebezpečný Afganistan až do Indie, sprevádzaný obrovským vojskom a svojimi nie vždy lojálnymi spolubojovníkmi.
